Phone:805 688 0936 This painting is one of a series of two abstract paintings I did right after I recovered from illness in 2002. This one is "Remembering Pain" Acrylic, 2 by 3 feet. It has a lot of texture. There are areas where the painting is irridescent. The red fish scales record the pain and helplessness that overcame me at first. Underneath the growing parts are pushing that all aside. There are dark forces at work holding me down as well. But the Sonshine is above calling me to it.
